Zet Gold

Zet Gold is a Des Moines-based illustrator and muralist whose playful, character-driven work brings whimsy to public spaces across Iowa. As one of Creston's Hometown Heroes, Gold contributed mural designs to the award-winning Mentor Mural Mashup program, which paired professional artists with high school students to create over fifty murals between 2020 and 2023. Gold's illustration style blends folk art influences with bold graphic shapes, creating scenes full of personality and warmth. In addition to exterior murals, Gold designed a children's area mural for Creston's Gibson Memorial Library.
