Wormfarm Institute

Wormfarm Institute is a nonprofit arts and ecology organization based in the Driftless Region of rural Wisconsin, founded in 2000 by Donna Neuwirth and Jay Salinas. A national leader in rural creative placemaking, Wormfarm hosts artist residencies, produces community murals, and created the acclaimed Farm/Art DTour. Their work explores the connections between farming, conservation, and the arts, bridging urban and rural communities through cross-sector collaboration rooted in Sauk County's unique natural and human history.
