Willow Gentile

Willow Gentile is a Rochester, Minnesota native and plein air painter who earned her BFA in painting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Known for her vibrant, saturated oils and energetic brushwork, she captures landscapes and moments throughout the Driftless region. Gentile also creates large-scale public murals and experimental paper sculptures. In 2022, she opened Willow Gentile Studio & Gallery in downtown Lake City, Minnesota, where she paints, prints, and shows her work in a warm, eclectic space.
