Virginia Hoffman
Virginia Hoffman is a multidisciplinary fine artist who has shaped Sarasota's creative landscape for over four decades. Working from her downtown studio, she moves fluidly between sculpture, glass art, drawing, photography, and printmaking, bringing a deep sensitivity to material and space to everything she creates. Hoffman studied graphic design at Ringling School of Art and fine arts at the University of South Florida, later training in architectural glass in Germany and at the Pilchuck School. Her public and private commissions can be found throughout Florida, and she served on Sarasota's Municipal Public Art Advisory Board for a decade.
