Virginia Daley
Virginia Daley is a Washington, DC-based landscape painter working in the Luminist tradition. Her panoramic oil and acrylic paintings capture fleeting moments of natural light across wild American landscapes, from the Grand Tetons to the Galapagos Islands. Inspired by Eastern philosophy and thirteen summers spent with a Lakota family in South Dakota, her work appears in the collections of the National Museum for Women in the Arts, the Library of Congress, and the U.S. Department of State. She has exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery and Sherry French Gallery in New York.
