Vera Klute

Vera Klute is a multi-disciplinary visual artist based in Kells, Ireland. A graduate of IADT with first-class honours in Fine Art (2006), she won the prestigious Hennessy Portrait Prize in 2015. Her practice spans painting, sculpture, kinetic work, and ceramics, with a particular focus on portraiture. Notable public commissions include busts of Garry Hynes at the National Gallery of Ireland, Eileen Gray in Paris, and Rosalind Franklin at Trinity College Dublin. She is represented by the Molesworth Gallery.
