Ulla & Gustav Kraitz
Ulla Kraitz (b. 1936, Stockholm) and Gustav Kraitz (b. 1926, Miskolc, Hungary) are a husband-and-wife artistic duo based in Hallandsåsen, Sweden. Ulla trained at Konstfack in Stockholm; Gustav studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest before fleeing to Sweden in 1956. Together they create ceramics, bronze sculptures, and large-scale public works. Their commissions include the Raoul Wallenberg monument at the UN Building in New York and works at the De Young Museum in San Francisco. Ulla has designed Nobel Prize diploma artwork.
