Turid Angell Eng

Turid Angell Eng (b. 1937, Oslo) is a Norwegian sculptor and illustrator whose work draws from music, dance, and the human figure. Trained at Oslo's National Academy of Art under Per Palle Storm and in Paris at the Beaux-Arts, Eng works in a naturalistic tradition that balances emotional expression with formal clarity. Her public commissions include Tryllefløyten at Nordtvedt school and Maria med barnet in Oslo Cathedral. A monograph celebrating fifty years of her work was published in 2023.
