Tom Stancliffe
Tom Stancliffe is a sculptor originally from the Chicago area who lives and works in rural Iowa. A Professor of Art at the University of Northern Iowa, he also directs the Public Art Incubator. Stancliffe is best known for large-scale public sculptures in bronze and stainless steel that respond to the historical and contemporary character of their sites. He has completed over thirty commissioned works for public collections nationally, including Ghost Trees at Iowa State University and Aureole in Cedar Falls.
