Thomasina TopBear
Thomasina TopBear is a self-taught muralist, illustrator, and organizer from the Oglala Lakota and Santee Dakota Nations. She co-founded City Mischief Murals, an all-BIPOC artist collective centered on healing through art, and serves as a board member of the international all-female paint crew Few & Far Women. Her large-scale murals draw on Oceti Sakowin culture and graffiti-style lettering to address community, social justice, and togetherness. She is a grant recipient of Forecast Public Art, the Knight Foundation, and the Minnesota State Arts Board.
