Susie Shepherd

Susie Shepherd is a mixed-media artist from Northeast Lincoln, Nebraska, working in watercolor, acrylics, ink, and mixed media. The dragonfly is a central motif in her work, representing transformation and personal change. Beyond her studio practice, Shepherd works in addiction recovery, where she encourages those she supports to pursue creative expression as part of their journey. Her University Place mural was created in collaboration with Oxford House members in recovery, funded by an NEA Challenge America Grant through NeighborWorks Lincoln.
