Sijia Chen

Sijia Chen is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist born in Shantou, China. She holds a B.A. from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and an M.F.A. from Tyler School of Art at Temple University. Known for intricate papercut collages and large-scale public art, her work explores cultural identity, migration, and collective memory. Her permanent installations can be found at Seattle International Airport and in cities across the U.S. and China. Her work is held in collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Guangdong Art Museum.
