Sharon Miller-Thompson
Sharon Miller-Thompson is a St. Paul-based mixed media artist who creates functional and sculptural works from steel, copper, glass, clay, and found objects. A lifelong artist, she earned a BA in Fine Art from Macalester College and an MS from Winona State University, later adding metalworking and welding to her practice through studies at St. Paul College. Her work ranges from intimate garden sculptures and birdbaths to large-scale public installations. She runs Yardly Art studios from her century-old St. Paul home, where every piece is made by hand.
