Sarah Rowe
Sarah Rowe is an interdisciplinary artist of Lakota and Ponca descent based in Omaha, Nebraska. Her work spans painting, installation, and performance, drawing from the energy of Heyoka, the sacred clown of the Lakota tradition. Rowe holds a BA from Webster University and has exhibited at Joslyn Art Museum, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, and the Sheldon Museum of Art. Her award-winning mural Starseeds is the tallest in Nebraska. She received the 2025 Outstanding Artist award at the Nebraska State Arts Awards.
