Samantha Gallagher
Samantha Gallagher is a natural science illustrator based in Lake County, Illinois, specializing in entomological art. She holds a Master of Science in Entomology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Flagler College. Working primarily in colored pencils and ink, Gallagher creates meticulously detailed illustrations of insects, with a focus on hymenoptera. Her work has been featured in collaborations with the Lake County Forest Preserves and the book BugWatching by Eric Eaton. When not illustrating, she works as a bee identification specialist.
