Samantha French

Samantha French is an internationally recognized figurative painter known for her luminous underwater swimmer paintings. A graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, French draws inspiration from childhood summers spent in the lakes of northern Minnesota, where she grew up in Nisswa. Her oil paintings capture themes of escape, tranquility, and nostalgia through dreamlike depictions of figures submerged in sun-dappled water. Now based in the Hudson Valley, New York, her work is held in private and public collections worldwide.
