Rose Spieler-Sandberg

Rose Spieler-Sandberg is a community artist and city planner based in Ashland, Wisconsin. A Northland College graduate in Sustainable Community Development, she channels her passion for placemaking into large-scale mosaic murals that bring neighbors together. Working alongside Mae Stoutenburg as Piece of Mind Mosaics, Rose has led multiple public art projects across Ashland, including the Ed Griffiths Pedestrian Tunnel mosaic and the Chequamegon Food Co-op mural. Her work centers community participation at every stage, from design to installation.
