Robert Wilde

Robert V. Wilde is a Minnesota-native sculptor and artist based in Dassel, Minnesota. He studied art at the University of Minnesota before completing a BFA and MA in sculpture at St. Cloud State University. Wilde taught at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University for ten years before establishing his own studio in a historic Dassel storefront in 1996. He specializes in sculptural portraiture — from intimate busts to monumental public works — and also works in photography, drawing, and giclée printing.
