Richard Harrison

Richard Harrison is the founder of A Midsummer's Mural, an Omaha-based mural company he started in 1999. With an MFA from North Carolina School for the Arts and decades of experience in large-scale art, he co-created the South Omaha Mural Project — a celebrated series of community murals honoring the immigrant neighborhoods of South Omaha. His impressionist-influenced style uses layered, translucent paint to capture the spirit of communities and the landscapes they inhabit.
