Rachel Cole

Rachel Cole is a community muralist based in Albert Lea, Minnesota, originally from Exeter, California — a small town known for its painted murals. A self-described eighties kid who grew up playing Super Mario Bros. with her dad, Cole brings nostalgia and meticulous craft to her large-scale public art. Her work on the Super Wall mural for Art Walk Albert Lea took two summers to complete, with 95 percent of the design hand-painted using chalk outlines, rulers, and yardsticks.
