Priscila De Carvalho
Priscila De Carvalho is a Brazilian-American contemporary artist born in Curitiba, Brazil, who lives and works in Long Island City, New York. Her paintings, sculptures, murals, and installations explore the tension between urban environments and the natural world, drawing on influences from Pop Art and architectural forms. A Pollock-Krasner Foundation Fellow, she has exhibited at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Grand Palais in Paris, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts, and has created permanent public art for the NYC MTA and Phoenix's Valley Metro Rail.
