Phlegm is a Welsh-born, Sheffield-based street artist, illustrator, and storyteller known worldwide for intricate black-and-white murals. Emerging from DIY zine and comic culture in the early 2000s, he builds surreal worlds filled with elongated figures, whimsical machines, and fantastical ecosystems — all rendered with meticulous linework. His self-published comics remain the foundation of his visual universe. Phlegm embraces the ephemeral nature of street art, viewing each wall as a temporary canvas rather than a permanent monument.
