Paul Albright

Paul Albright is a wood sculptor based in Akeley, Minnesota, who has been carving for over thirty years. Drawn to sculpting since age five, he works with chainsaws, chisels, and hand tools to create wildlife and nature pieces, mostly on commission. His favorite wood is butternut, though he chose black walnut for Bruno to match the dog's dark coat. Albright's sculptures appear in outdoor walks in Bemidji, Delano, and Park Rapids, and he teaches carving classes at Cedar Swan in Nevis.
