Patty Talbert

Patty Talbert is an Omaha-based painter and multimedia artist whose vibrant work draws from batik techniques — layering colors, patterns, and textures to create richly geometric compositions. She earned her BFA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and trained at the Smithsonian African American Museum of History and Culture. A 2020 Fellow at The Union for Contemporary Art and 2022 Most Outstanding Visual Artist at the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards, Talbert is known for her North Omaha Positive Affirmation Project, uplifting her community through public art and words of encouragement.
