Nick Goettling

Nick Goettling is a Washington State native and Chicago-based muralist, illustrator, and fine artist whose large-scale public works bring local history and community stories to life. He earned his BFA from The Evergreen State College with an emphasis on narrative drawing and painting, and later studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His murals span cities from Portland to Chicago, often developed in collaboration with historians and community members. He co-founded Platform Studios in Chicago and served as Artist in Residence at the Museum of Science and Industry.
