Michael Valenti is a cycling artist and illustrator based near Chicago. Known professionally as Veloist, he creates vintage travel-style bicycle posters, paintings, and prints inspired by iconic races and places in cycling. With over thirty-five years of creative experience—including time as a Creative Director at Leo Burnett—Valenti travels the globe chasing the peloton, from the Tour de France to the Giro d'Italia, sketching and painting on location. His distinctive work celebrates the passion, history, and beauty of cycling culture.
