Michael Knudson

Michael Knudson is a Nebraska-based bronze sculptor with over three decades of experience creating life-size cast bronze figures. A third-generation artist, he studied art at Luther College under sculptor Orville Running before pursuing ministry as a Lutheran pastor. For decades he balanced both callings, creating commissioned bronzes for hospitals, colleges, churches, and public spaces across the Midwest. His works include portraits, religious figures, and commemorative sculptures. Now retired from ministry, Knudson focuses full-time on his sculptural practice.
