Meg Saligman
Meg Saligman is a Philadelphia-based muralist known for creating some of the largest public murals in the United States. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, she has produced over 40 permanent public artworks worldwide. Her seminal mural Common Threads (1998) helped spark the contemporary mural movement. Saligman pioneered the community paint day technique, bringing thousands of participants into the art-making process. Her work has been featured by the Smithsonian, the New York Times, and NPR.
