Matti Kallioinen

Matti Kallioinen (b. 1974, Uppsala, Sweden) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Stockholm whose work spans sculpture, installation, performance, and music. A graduate of Konstfack, he creates vibrantly colored organic forms that explore the boundary between living and non-living matter. His notable public commissions include Spectral Self Container in Malmö and Limbic Resonance at Stockholm's Hötorget subway station. Represented by Gallery Steinsland Berliner and Larsen Warner, Kallioinen has exhibited at Moderna Museet, Bonnier Konsthall, and Magasin III.
