Martzia Thometz

Martzia Thometz, known as Pretty Hard, is a self-taught Minneapolis-based visual artist who has been painting since 2008. Rooted in graffiti, she works primarily with aerosol, acrylic, and ink, creating murals that balance bold imagery with delicate beauty. Her recurring motifs of butterflies, flowers, and hands symbolize transformation, connection, and resilience. She has painted at Art Basel Miami, X-Games, Soundset Music Festival, and Chroma Zone Festival, with commissioned pieces visible throughout the Twin Cities.
