Mariela Ajras
Mariela Ajras (b. 1984) is a visual artist and muralist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Trained as a psychologist at the University of Buenos Aires, she brings emotional depth and sensitivity to her large-scale works exploring femininity, collective memory, and migration. Over a decade-long career, she has painted murals across cities including Los Angeles, Barcelona, Mexico City, Bogotá, and Saint Paul. Her work questions the scope of art in public space through a gender perspective, blending intimate portraiture with powerful social commentary.
