Lori Greene
Lori Greene is a Minneapolis-based mosaic artist of African American, Native American (Mississippi Band of Choctaw), and white heritage. She holds a BFA from California College of the Arts and an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. In 2004 she founded Mosaic on a Stick, a community art studio in St. Paul. A two-time Bush Artist Fellow, Greene creates public mosaics from Minneapolis to Dubai, integrating art into streets, building exteriors, and community spaces. Herself a survivor, she spent five years preparing the nation's first permanent Memorial to Survivors of Sexual Violence.
