Knappy Fogle
Craig "Knappy" Fogle is a Creston, Iowa-based artist and tattoo artist whose work spans painting, mixed media, and public murals. A Creston High School graduate, Fogle honed his craft through years of tattooing at Mid Air Ink in Des Moines and later at Self Xpressions in Creston. His paintings draw comparisons to Rembrandt for their rich sepia tones and emotionally charged portraits. In 2011, he published Acceptance, a collection of 82 original paintings with reflective essays. Fogle co-founded Remnant Gallery in Creston with fellow artist Ira Ibbotson.
