Kipp Kobayashi
Kipp Kobayashi is a Los Angeles-based artist, teacher, and arts advocate whose work explores how human activity transforms public spaces into living records of collective experience. He holds a BA from UC Berkeley and an MFA from USC, and teaches at Cal Poly Pomona. His public commissions span the country, including projects for the Getty Museum, LA Metro, Bay Area Rapid Transit, and Sound Transit. The Dreams We Carry is his largest suspended installation to date.
