Jovian

Jovian (José Villavicencio Anaya) is a Mexican visual artist born in Mexico City in 1965. After studying International Relations at the Universidad Iberoamericana, he entered the art world first as a gallerist before launching his own creative practice in painting, sculpture, and object creation. A Puerto Vallarta resident for over two decades, Jovian has exhibited internationally across Mexico, the United States, France, Hong Kong, and Singapore. His monumental bronze Lluvia stands as one of the most recognizable works along Puerto Vallarta's famed Malecón boardwalk.
