Jon Stommel

Jon Stommel is one half of Rather Severe, a collaborative mural duo creating vibrant public art across the United States. He earned his BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design, where he began working with Travis Czekalski in 2010. Now based in Indianapolis, Jon has painted murals in cities from Portland to Atlanta and collaborated with brands including Adidas, Target, and Microsoft. His work transforms ordinary walls into playful cartoon worlds filled with wide-eyed characters and bold colors.
