Jeremy Bena

Jeremy Albert Bena was a Kansas City-based artist originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. A graduate of the UMKC Art School where he studied sculpture and painting, Jeremy worked as a preparator at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. He was a founding member of the mural collective Enamel USA alongside Mike Trujillo and Ryan Estel, painting over 100 murals across the Midwest. A longtime studio tenant at the Bunker Center for the Arts, Jeremy created mixed media paintings and sculptures known for their innovative paint handling and original execution. He passed away in November 2021.
