Hillel Smith

Hillel Smith is an artist and graphic designer creating contemporary Jewish work, from large-scale murals to Hebrew typographic designs and modern Judaica. A University of Pennsylvania graduate with a degree in Visual Studies, he has painted vibrant murals across the United States, Jerusalem, and at the Fendi headquarters in Rome. Smith sees Hebrew as the visual thread connecting Jewish communities across time and geography, constantly pushing the boundaries of how the ancient script can look. His clients include HIAS, PJ Library, and Patton Oswalt.
