Guido van Helten
Guido van Helten is an Australian muralist known for his monumental photorealistic portraits painted on grain silos, dam walls, and industrial structures around the world. Raised in Brisbane, he studied visual arts at Southern Cross University before turning to large-scale public art. Van Helten immerses himself in each community he visits, photographing local residents and transforming their likenesses into towering works that celebrate identity, heritage, and place. His murals can be found across the United States, Australia, Europe, and beyond.
