Greg Wimmer

Greg Wimmer is a graphic designer and muralist based in Rochester, Minnesota. A graduate of Kendall School of Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he moved to Rochester in 1979 and spent 15 years in commercial design before transitioning to large-scale mural work. Over the course of his career, Wimmer has completed more than 30 sizable murals across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, and South Dakota. Now partially retired, he stays active painting theater sets, creating live caricatures, and embarking on long-distance biking adventures.
