Geno Okok
Geno Okok is a Nigerian-American visual artist who began painting at age seven and earned an Associate Degree in Fine Art from the Minneapolis Art Institute in 2013. His Expressionist Realism style captures joyful moments in everyday life, celebrating beauty, music, fashion, and grace in the African spirit. Okok has created murals across the Twin Cities, including George Floyd memorials and community projects with Brooklyn Park youth. He serves on the Brooklyn Park Task Force and the Advisory Council for the Center for Innovation and the Arts.
