Gene Piersa

Gene Piersa is a sculptor based in Independence, Minnesota, who transforms reclaimed metal into works ranging from eight inches to over twelve feet tall. A former Marine with a BA in Art from California State University, Sacramento, Piersa founded Omega Galleries and Studios in 1972 before settling in Minnesota. His pieces blend realistic and abstract forms, exploring themes of honor, memory, and wonder. He is a member of the Society of Minnesota Sculptors and the Guild of Metalsmiths.
