Frank Hansen

Frank Hansen is a Des Moines-based artist who studied fine and commercial art at Grand View University. Growing up on a farm, he realized early that art didn't have to be pretty — and sometimes the best art isn't. He developed his own style called Emotionalism, where the work channels whatever he's feeling in the moment. Hansen works across painting, murals, clothing design, and interactive pieces, and has exhibited at Moberg Gallery and throughout the Des Moines art scene.
