Forrest Wozniak

Forrest Wozniak is a sign painter and muralist born and raised in South Minneapolis. With a background in construction and restoration, he began painting in the late 1990s and apprenticed under veteran sign painter Phil Vandervaart. Over 20-plus years, his hand-lettered work has become a fixture across Twin Cities storefronts, including Blue Door Pub, Lowry Hill Meats, and Angry Catfish Bicycle Shop. Named Best Sign Painter by MPLS/St Paul Magazine, Wozniak sees his craft as helping build the world he wants to see—one small business at a time.
