Fadlabi

Fadlabi (b. 1975, Omdurman, Sudan) is a Norwegian-Sudanese visual artist based in Oslo whose distinctive style fuses Ethiopian church icons, barber-salon murals, Afrofuturism, and Pop Art. Educated at the Oslo Academy of Fine Art (KHiO) and universities in Khartoum, he works across painting, text, and performance. He founded One Night Only, a celebrated weekly gallery platform, and co-runs Khartoum Contemporary Art Center in Oslo. His work has been shown at the Sharjah Biennial, Munchmuseet, and venues from Cairo to New York.
