Emily Balsley

Emily Balsley is a Madison, Wisconsin-based illustrator and muralist whose bold, colorful style brings warmth and whimsy to every surface she touches. Owner of Bluestar Ink, LLC, she creates murals for schools, libraries, and public spaces across the Midwest. Her published children's books include Spark and Kitchen Chemistry. Emily's work blends hand-lettering with character-driven illustration, drawing on her love of animals, people, and vivid color palettes that brighten any room — or street corner.
