Emanuel Martinez

Emanuel Martinez is a Denver-born muralist, painter, and sculptor whose career began at age thirteen when he painted his first mural. Trained through workshops with legendary artists David A. Siqueiros and Francisco Zuniga, Martinez has created over 100 public works across the United States, from monumental steel sculptures to life-size bronze memorials. His work is held in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and he has received both the Governor's and Mayor's Awards for Excellence in the Arts in Colorado. He is also the founder of The Emanuel Project, which engages at-risk youth through mural-making.
