Donald Lipski
Donald Lipski is a New York-based sculptor known for transforming everyday objects into large-scale public works. Born in Chicago in 1947, he studied history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and ceramics at Cranbrook Academy of Art. His installations have appeared at MoMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and public spaces nationwide, including The Yearling at the Denver Public Library and F.I.S.H. along San Antonio's River Walk. A Guggenheim Fellow and Rome Prize recipient, Lipski brings a curious, inventive sensibility to everything he creates.
