Wonder Wander
Donald Lipski is a New York-based sculptor known for playful, larger-than-life public artworks found across the United States. Born in Chicago in 1947, he studied history at the University of Wisconsin–Madison before earning his MFA at Cranbrook Academy of Art. His notable public works include The Yearling outside the Denver Public Library and F.I.S.H. at the San Antonio River Walk. A Guggenheim Fellow and Rome Prize winner, Lipski's work lives in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago.
