Dean Holzman

Dean Holzman is a St. Paul, Minnesota-based artist who works across sculpture, furniture design, and public art. A McKnight Foundation fellowship recipient, his practice draws on experience in theatrical set construction and furniture making, with materials and ideas from one project often sparking the next. Holzman works in steel, wood, aluminum, and glass, creating pieces that blend function with artistry. His public works include Time Piece on the Edina Promenade and Place of Repose in Rochester, Minnesota, a collaboration with Phil Daniel and Shawnee Langworthy.
