David Gerstein

David Gerstein is an Israeli painter and sculptor born in Jerusalem in 1944. He studied at the Bezalel Academy, the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the Art Students League in New York, and St. Martins School of Art in London. A pioneer of 3D laser-cut metal wall art, Gerstein is celebrated for his vibrant, pop-art-inspired sculptures that bring bursts of color to public spaces worldwide. His major public works include Momentum in Singapore, Peloton Wave in Taiwan, and Spirit of Freedom in Tel Aviv.
